I think the reason I like foudubulbe’s stuff is mostly due to the sharp contrast of particularly ‘soft looking’ art style with the ‘grey morality’ philosophical outlooks.
 
I do find some of the conversations annoyingly smug sometimes.  
This one is fine though.

People who shout everyone else into agreeing with their opinions are the ones that drive me up the wall.
 
Its also okay to not find some things funny. I don’t find most memes funny for example.

I know what you mean. I ship Twilight/Celestia and I don’t enjoy most of these ‘joke’ comics at all, for the same reasons you don’t. I just can’t see how this is supposed to be funny.

Time to get spooky
Every week I realize more and more that I’m not a fan of Foudubulbe’s stuff. His art is fine, and I can see how people can enjoy their stuff, but I’m not a fan of their character depictions. I’m not a fan of Twi being love-deprived and ship-crazy (doesn’t help I’m not a Celestia/Twilight fan), I’m not a fan of Mac murdering his parents and is planning his sister’s with Cheerilee, and I don’t like the idea of Flutters being psychotic. I know these are jokes, but I just don’t find them funny. If you enjoy them, good for you, I’m not a fan myself.
