Description

I’ve seen some images of realistic changelings and I wanted to try to draw one.  
I took inspiration from different insects, mainly from the praying mantis, locust and cicada.

Yeah, realistic bug are not the most kid friendly thing there is. I think they tried to do it (albeit very simplified) in g1 with queen Bumble’mouth that look like a bee mandible.

Also yes, the green changeling has just molted and their skin hasn’t hardened yet and is still transparent.

Notoriously Divine Tagger - Consistently uploads images above and beyond the minimum tag requirements. And/or additionally, bringing over the original description from the source if the image has one. Does NOT apply to the uploader adding several to a dozen tags after originally uploading with minimum to bare tagging.

Oooh… I think these might be my favorite realistic changeling design I’ve seen so far.
 
Is the green changeling in the bottom right a post-transformation “changedling”, or is that just what they look like before their skin hardens?
