Because apparently the internetz hate Sonic. The “Sonic mass upload” raids on this site aren’t helping either.
Though, looking at the TF2 tag, and other crossovers, even the crappier crossover stuff gets nowhere near as many downvotes as even the more tolerable Sonic images. Something about Sanik triggers people’s inner rage.
Though, keep in mind there are still Sonic fans around here too. They just aren’t as obsessed with him as the haters.
It worked to stop the “chikkun face” spam.
Also, 99.5% is rather exaggerated, as some genuinely enjoyable Sonic images on this site have positive scores. (Though, unfortunately due to the Sonic spam, the Sanik-haters downvote even the good ones in retaliation, which encourage the trolls to flood the site with Sonic pics. It’s a vicious cycle..)
Still… This is the only “Sonic” tagged image uploaded today, so there’s not much point complaining.

As others and I have said before, if people don’t start ignoring the Sonic pics that they can easily filter and continue shoving downvotes and negative comments towards the majority of the friggin’ pics, they’ll just keep coming. If you don’t like them, just ignore them by using filters!
There’s no hope in here for this!
