I don’t know what you try to say with the last sentence. But I Increased the ‘shadow’ that’s what the heavily edited filter was called. And since I’m working with a quite big resolution, which is relative anyways, a stroke width of 2 is thinner than the necklaces.
Yup. Increasing the outline helps separate the text from the background. You’ve got an outline already, but it’s a little thin, doubling it would make the dialogue text stand out much better. When I do text on an image one of the tools I use calls it strokewidth, and I almost always set it at 2, because 1 ends up being too thin most of the time. But if you’re altering the existing image rather than redoing the text from scratch, it’ll be hard to do cleanly.
Could you be a bit more specific? “The font” is very vague.
@Vinyl Fluff
So more outline? Changed a bit around on it making it easier to edit. (using effects instead of two texts on top of each other)
One thing I would suggest for the dialogue font is to increase the strokewidth by one, increasing the amount of black outline. This will help a lot with the legibility on colored backgrounds, especially lighter ones.

Thanks. I’ll look into it.
