“Seriously, while the EqG versions of the Mane Six are all high school age, the versions in Equestria are all adults, with Twilight Sparkle being several years out of her university time. And Sunset is several years older than Princess Twi. So she’s gotta be the equivalent of late 20s (and her voice actress makes it clear she’s not a kid). So, merging that with the Steve Buscemi thing, since it’s a more current movie than “Jon Cryer is…Hiding Out”.”

At least one of the principal sisters knows it, but lets it slide because either (1)Sunset has dirt on them, or (2)It’s in their interest to keep Sunset around - possibly something to do with test scores and funding.”
