I hadn’t, actually. That’s adorable!
To be honest, I didn’t really like the way Lyra was characterised in this comic earlier on (just a personal preference), but I’ve really enjoyed how she’s been portrayed in recent issues. And yes, the universe this comic is set in is certainly a bit more cynical, but in a way it makes the more light-hearted comics like this all the more sweeter (especially when characters like Twilight get a break from all the usual stuff that keeps happening to them).
Yeah, I got into this comic series pretty recently. The last few ones with Twilight and Spike on vacation were kinda depressing, so this was a good one to take a break and cheer up a little.
And speaking of Lyra, you probably already seen this one, but I find it adorable :D

If those ants are anything like the ones I’ve been dealing with for the last few summers that would probably just guarantee they would get to it. And they’d probably be waiting with knives to rob me too when I showed up.
Realistically the ants would have taken me by surprise too. I bet I could seal some food in an airtight container and surround it with water so ants don’t get it. I’m not a beastmaster like Fluttershy D:
