If that’s the plot, then my rating for this episode will be lower than Applejack’s chances of winning with that cart.

The entire concept of this ep appears to be that when the CMC ask for help, the rivalry between Rarity, AJ, and Dash makes them forget they are supposed to be helping the foals to have fun, and instead make it an intense competition.
Aka, running of the leaves and Brotherhooves social, parts 2, basically.

I feel the same way. It’s exactly what I’ve been worried about since first reading the synopsis. If, after so long since AB and SB even got a real speaking role, the crusaders aren’t treated well here, I’ll probably lose the rest of my hype for this season.
You mean karts
They aren’t cars. They’re carts. And what are you talking about… They’ve been waaay more toyetic with this show than this. I mean just look at the castle of friendship. It makes no goddamn sense design wise. Its a total eyesore. I’ve accepted it though. It has to be this way, its a toy driven show.
Yes but they have always done it smoothly, this episode though seems its only purpose is the car toy selling, frankly I liked Equestria better without cars, aren’t because of those we have the global warming issues and all? lol
