I haven’t done the comparison myself, but we do have the crown as the only common object between the two worlds, and thus assuming it doesn’t change…
Rough measure, that would make the eyes about the same size, and then you can take it from there.
Or they might be the correct size for all we know. The staff didn’t use the opportunity to do a Pony/Human size comparison in EQG, so all we can do is guess.
It’s the artist’s style (check his tag). Makes them more HNNNG-inducing.
