Aria as Alberta? I guess it can make sense given our main export is fuel products which burns. And dragons are bad ass just like us!

Personally, I would’ve switched Fluttershy and Twilight around. Ontario being the economic and political center of the country seems more appropriate for her, while BC’s organic culture seems like a better fit for Fluttershy. Not to mention Greenpeace was founded in Vancouver.
 
Also, Alberta should probably be represented by Applejack, since it’s more stereotypically American.

Applejack should have been in British Columbia instead. Sure, Saskatchewan has farms, but they’re mostly grain farms. The apples come from the B.C. interior.

I chose Fluttershy for Ontario because she has bit of a Canadian personality.  
Rarity got Quebec because of her “French” in Sweet and Elite  
Sheriff Silverstar for New Brunswick because in Over A Barrel He and the Buffalos have disputed land, New Brunswick has disputed Islands with Maine in the US.  
Newfoundland and Labrador: One province. One Image Two ponies.  
Saskatchewan, farming  
Manitoba bison.
