Smyths is a big place for it to be exclusive to at least I guess. I’m guessing Europe isn’t too big of a concern for them. It’s all about the US/Latin America and Asia now.

You know what I found out today? I was at a comic convention in my nearest city and one of the stalls was held by a toy store I go to regularly, they had the guardians of harmony SDCC two pack Fluttershy and discord which I never picked up due to the price, but I asked the guy in charge if they were going to get the rest of the GOH toyline, here is what he said (We contacted Hasbro and they said we won’t be shipping them to Europe because there is no market there as only 6 year old girls collect ponies however tey will be exclusive to the Smyths toy store)  
Now this is Hasbro Europe(Hasbro UK) who are notorious for terrible distribution, This actually pissed me off because what’s the point of Hasbro making new toys to try and widen the ever growing appeal for boys only to have one of their branches come out and say it won’t sell because it’s for little girls? I mean they just baffle me sometimes with their sheer idiocy.

Only other one that is kind of screwed up is the Spike with teeth that weren’t painted and the weird color plastic. Surprised they’re advertising with it.

Oh, I don’t doubt he’ll get a toy, I just am pointing out that Tirek would have to be the “jumbo” toy of a wave, compared to how chryssy and nightmare moon can be small toys too.

Sombra’s incredibly low on the popularity rating scale; remember he was so disliked as a villain that McCarthy was perfectly happy to let him stay dead since she stated when asked about sombra that he was gone for good.  
He got some villain cred back from the IDW comic and the S5 finale, but he’s still vastly below the other villains in terms of people asking for him. He’d be EASY to use, since he’s a simple design, so I don’t doubt we’ll get him at some point, but I don’t think he’s next.
 
 
Tirek and discord conversely have very high popularity, but their designs make them prohibitively Difficult to use in this line. Tirek would have to be a giant specially designed toy like Adult spike, due to this design and size. So Tirek will probably end up being a giant special toy for one of the waves like what spike is to this wave– That’s assuming the giant spike toy sells well of course, as that one’s alot dicier than the other shoe in toys: Unlike the pony toys, spike is $40.00, and is a less popular character than the mane six, plus he is less gender neutral (being heavily aimed at the young boys while the ponies are boy/girl toys fairly equally). If spike doesn’t sell well, that makes it less likely they’ll risk more giant monster toys in the future, like how Friendship games bombing has made hasbro drastically slash all the toys they’re making for LOE.

I don’t watch FiM, or buy the toys, even as collectibles, but I figured King Sombra, Discord and Tirek would have been shoe-ins for “Action Figure” style toys.

All that’s missing is Rarity, Fluttershy, and Cadance.
