I don’t follow a particular timeline, but try to maintain some continuity inside the interviews. And yes, canon contradicts them partially, mostly regarding later developments in the show that occur after the interview. But what choice do I have? I can answer something and get played for a sucker by canon later or I don’t answer at all. Sometimes I even seem to predict the future^^

The timeline of the show itself breaks down if you think too hard about it. I assume the same logic works here, especially given the risk of later contradiction in canon.

Now, on another topic, is there a clear timeline for these? Because the fourth Twilight Sparkle interview has to take place some time after Slice of Life; the Doctor needs time to realize that he can tell Derpy the truth. Meanwhile, the fourth Dash interview dovetails well with 28 Pranks Later; why else would Dashie be so cruel to Derpy?

Update: You may have noticed the break. Reason being that I’m really not feeling up to it right now. I’m not feeling well, I had plenty of work to do and there’s a ton of RL going on right now. Hopefully, the regular schedule will resume next weekend.

I’m kinda sad I missed fabulous pony interview earlier, though. For some reason I’ve really taken a liking to Rarity, recently. I’ve even had a dream before where I was basically humanized her, running a boutique, designing dresses. Woman and everything, which was kind of odd to wake up from. Almost confusing.

But it’s really interesting. I think: “I really like AJ, but I don’t think I could put up with the mess and long laborious hours of farm life,” then I remember how she gets along with Rarity…

Well, it isn’t unheard of for a pony to change their name if they get married; according to the comics, Mr. Cake change his name when he got married. So an Apple changing their name to better match their spouse could happen.

That works too.
