Given there was an episode of latter-day SpongeBob with the same premise, I don’t think they’d be able to do it without making Pinkie Pie seem more annoying than usual.

I have an idea for an episode: The Mane cast challenges Pinkie not to laugh for a whole day, and this would be a scene in the episode. Spike starts to fool around with Pinkie by tickling her with a feather, and Pinkie has a hard time trying to hold in her laughter.
