Don’t Face Mechons usually have a bright white faceplate as well as gold bits on their bodies? Their bodies also look a bit more robotic than skeletal, if memory serves.
It’s been a few years since I watched my younger brother play a bit of that game, so my memory might be off.
I am almost 100% sure this is meant to be Terminator, that is, an automaton killing machine made by SkyNet.
Also, Face Mechon… Maybe just to me. X3
Necrons would have green energy, a more prominent ribcage, and the skull would probably be stylized differently.
They’re another good addition to the lists of robot-looking things that could potentially be referenced.

Its probably because I haven’t bought or played Fallout 4 yet, despite having played all the other ones in the series.
Terminator 2 was probably the first action movie I’ve ever seen, and my favorite one in the series. I got all emotional at the end, but I was a little kid when I first watched it.
Oh! And there is this terminator OC on this website tagged “oc:crystal eclair” I haven’t read any of the fanfiction shes in yet, but she seems pretty nice :3
It’s the environment the white with red mist is the same as the instutes synth creation room which is white with red liquid and mist. If it was just the bot by itself it would just be a terminator but the setting changes the context.
It looks really weird to see Fallout 4 stuff overwrite Terminator robots in people’s minds, doesn’t it? I mean the first reaction someone has when they see something that looks even vaguely robotic.
That’s just what a synth would say.
