A normal horse yes, but normal horses can’t talk or fly. I’m pretty sure mlp pones can see color like we can.

While I’d use colorblind/bad vision as an excuse if I kept calling ponies by the wrong name, life must be heck for an actual colorblind pony.
(For sake of comparison, I’m assuming MLP ponies can see all the colors)
Reads all the comments. It would be pretty cool if a filly decided to hang out with Lyra and Bon Bon all the time. The show wouldn’t even need to explain it, the fans would talk about it anyways.

Fanon only. She was decided to be Lyra and BonBon’s daughter in early season 1. Then when Call of the Cutie came along, people speculated that she and Sweetie Belle were sisters, until the show eventually made it clear that she was related to Rarity instead. But nothing’s ever come in the way of Tootsie Flute, Lyra, and BonBon, except for personal preference re: their being in a relationship and having a child therefrom.
