Looking back on my old comment, I almost predicted Nightmare Knights.
depends. are we talking about the Ian McLellan Magneto or the Michael Fassbinder Magneto? or the one from the comics?
No, that would be the cattle rustlers arc. Reflections is polarizing. A lot of people liked it, and a lot disliked it.
Oh, I actually did read that one, and I thought it was pretty good.
Fair enough.
I’d rather not bring it up, but apparently alot of fans weren’t pleased with the whole Celestia & A,U. (Alternate Universe) Sombra thing, among other things with the arc. Some also felt we didn’t see enough of the other A.U. characters, and the A.U. part of the story was wasted.
Why all the controversy?
I haven’t read her later ones admittedly, so I can’t judge them personally.
The “Reflections” arc is considered her most controversial or disliked story, but regardless, I have a friend who liked it.
That sucks. I’ve actually only read her early stories so far.
Katie has actually been getting alot of hate here lately. A li’l less now that she’s retiring from the comics though.
Many seem to think her earlier stories were better.
Heck, if it’s written by Katie Cook and drawn by Andy Price, I’ll read it. (And enjoy it.)
It’s a pet…the only reason I can see people getting bitchy about that is that there wasn’t an explanation as to why she has a pet…or even how she got it and it just appeared out of nowhere.
Death to the False Empress
Agreed, like they actually have given Celestia & Luna more focus then the show has. (For better, or worse. Let’s not bring up the highly controversial “Reflections” arc.) Though, given the mixed reactions to their characterization, and such in the comics, maybe that’s why the show-runners are afraid to give them their own eps, or flesh them out.
Heck, some fans complain about Luna just having a pet in the comic.
Still need to read that…
