To be fair, Princess Twilight hardly had a chance to have any romantic scenes with Flash Sentry the next movie. She wasn’t even there for the most part.
It’s too bad I can’t perform a time travel experiment on this. What would make more fans explode:
Flash having more romance with Twilight,
Flash having romance with Scilight,
Flash getting back together with Sunset.
The Rainbow Rocks tie-in novel.

Regardless, it hinted at more romance in the next movie, and it was rather underwhelming in that respect. A holding pattern can only hold for so long.

Aye. It’s not that I don’t like Spike or don’t wish him well, but his crush on Rarity just doesn’t strike me as something that has any future. Ember fits much better in my eyes. Sweetie Belle might, if they have some more interaction.
