Considering that the town in question was Sire’s Hollow just covered in Hearth’s Warming decorations, I agree with this headcanon. So in addition to Stellar Flare’s over planning Sunburst’s life and Firelight’s swaddling, we can add Flintheart being a cyay to Starlight just because he didn’t score with her mother (BTW on a side note, still kind of annoys me that we have no information or even a mention of Starlight’s mum whatsoever) and that Firelight made his school life miserable to the list of causes that resulted in the creation of the village and Starlight almost destroying the timeline several times over.

And in that moment, Professor Flintheart set things in motion that very nearly ended the world.

He’s just salty that Snowfall’s mother ended up marrying his bully.

What kind of cold, heartless monster could not care if they made such a cute little filly have that sad face?
