Why do people keep making the assumption that I hold that opinion? I said in my first comment that it was “when people” whine about the difference and that RD shouldn’t be saying it. I never said that I thought that way.
The word “somebody” is applicable to literally any creature with a body.

It’s a pony, not a human, one thing different in the human world is saying “Derpy” only, because “Derpy Hooves” sound weird in that world.
I do prefer Fleethoof though. :)
Really? I don’t think it sounds good to use it.
I guess they feel it’s the same sort of thing as when people whine about Rainbow Dash saying “somebody” instead of pony. That said, Fleethoof works just as well as a name, I think.
