dammit i just rediscovered this comic! what bout pinkie and twilight???

meet rainbow dash. rainbow dash is a female pegasi. when she attended the crystal war to fight for her nation to protect it. she and the rest of the equestrian military succedded at defeating king sombra and the crystal empire. the crystal empire now lays in ruins. but as time went on she went home to ponyville to live in ponyville to once again live with her sister. she was a rather large pony. rainbow dash was larger than a stallion. for she was half pony half dragon. when she arrived home she found the her friends had all passed. but there was one thing that everypony seemed to remember,
 
keep flying, always forget the past, and i may be broken, but they have not beaten me yet.

True, but that just doesn’t make their treatment or the sudden mood swing here seem any better to me personally. It’s just like the story has gone:  
Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy - Supporting characters.  
Rainbow Dash - THE REAL HERO!!!!!!!

What Rainbow wants from life and what all the others want is visibly different. Especially, Twilight with her tendency to be reclusive nerd all day reading and arguing on internet forums through an interdimensional lanline… EG joke. Eh, whatever. XD

True, it’s just this is a rather jarring shift in tone. Don’t get me wrong, I really was enjoying the comic showing what happened to the characters, but all of a sudden it went from quiet stories to basically a full on action film. Plus, in all honesty, effectively putting Rainbow Dash on a borderline superhero pedestal after showing unremarkable and quiet lives of the others seems a bit disingenuous to Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy.
 
Sorry, it’s probably just me, but this really feels off somehow.

Besides, there’s still Pinkie and Twilight to go.

Fluttershy - Dies of childbirth, mourned and remembered.  
Applejack & Rarity - Live a long and happy life together, mourned and remembered.  
Rainbow Dash - Slays a being capable of killing both princesses, becomes Equestria’s greatest hero, remembered as a legend by the entire world and has monuments raised in her honour.

Dash has a memorial, and Fluttershy, Rarity, and AJ all have full tombstones.
 
I’m guessing those are plot markers and that they’re not actually dead yet, or maybe they just died recently. Either way, it’s kind of weird there’s just two flags for them, sitting there.
