To be fair tho, I think there’s only been 3 official callback/‘reborn’ characters from the original ‘Dream Valley’ canon, and all of them were powerful villains: Tirek, Scorpan, and the Smooze.

The better question is why wasn’t HE mentioned or featured in the show yet? Troubleshoes Clyde was a decent choice, but not quite like Woebegone. I seriously think it’d be interesting if he made a comeback.

…Gen 1 pony is a rather dead area for me, mostly because I haven’t bothered to watch it yet and am rather young compared to it, but I have to ask.  
Was he responsible for it, or is this a case like Troubleshoes’, were things just collapsed when he’s around?
