From source: So I doubt there is a place in equestria where the sun doesn’t shine as much as the moon does but living in a place where 6 months of the year its almost constant night makes me think that if there was. There be one place where Luna would be worshiped more than elsewhere. And sometimes she just needs that reminder.
While it would be nice to get the specifics, not having them leaves room for a lot of really excellent fan theories.
It would be really nice to know indeed. :3
I really wish we’d get some kind of specifics on how exactly the whole Sun/Moon thing works in Equestria, because it’s a fascinating system with a lot of room for exploring the scientific ramifications; if The Spheres are smaller heavenly objects much closer to Earth, then the sort of extended day/night in polar regions that’s being talked about here would actually be even more pronounced than it is in our world.
