It’s the intent behind it. Stalin killed more people than Hitler, but a lot of it was by accident, because Stalin was also an idiot. A manipulative, psychopathic, idiot, but an idiot nonetheless. Hitler, on the other hand, knew exactly what he was doing, carefully organized the systematic genocide of millions, and didn’t give a fuck. Therefore, I believe that Hitler was worse than Stalin.

I don’t know who was making the distinction between pure evil here. I was focusing on the lack of remorse regret or some other thing that would make named villians want to reform. If they have no interest in reform then it’s pointless. I am certain that Chrysalis could come to an agreement to get all the love they need without conflict, Sombra and Tirek don’t fit into that category. Sombra seemed like he was a broken ghost because the only words I remember him saying were “Crystals” and “slaves.” Tirek hates the ponies that locked him up, hates his brother, used discord, and was willing to do anything to become a tyrant. Good luck reforming them.

I really don’t think it’s fair to rank evil in the Nazis. They were all terrible. But this is all derail. My original point was that since even Hitler doesn’t constitute as pure evil, no one in My Little Pony would count as pure evil. This would include Chrysalis, Sombra, and Tirek.

He also cared a lot about animal rights. He was a vegetarian, and actually really loved animals. All this proves my point, about how pure evil never really was a thing, but we have had some close contenders. I’d say Hitler is the closest we’ve come to pure evil.

He was a psychopath. He killed 11 million people for literally no reason, and that’s MUCH less than what he wanted. He cared a lot about Germany and accounts report that he really loved his mother, which is why I said he’s one of the closest things to pure evil, and not pure evil, but his blatant disregard for human life, and the amount of unspeakable horrors he committed make him very close to pure evil.
