Ooooooh, you meant the linked image
Edited
No no, I don’t mean you altered it. I mean it sounds like someone posed as a Rareware employee.
Trust me when I say I’m not faking it.
Not to mention the Adventure Island series.
Hate the linked image…
Oh, man, this has been painful to read. Rare should threat its fanbase with a little consideration. After all, they grew thanks to them back in the Speccy (Sinclair Spectrum) days.
@Dirty Bit
Not as much as this… >>578265 (Pretty much sums up the current state of Rare.)
I also miss Hudson Soft… (Makers of Bonk & Bomberman.)
@Einsman
It really does hurt to read…
That hurts to read but is true
They bought Atlus recently, not really the sign of a game company with no money.
They’re more alive then Rareware is at this point.
Exactly. That’s why YMMV in these rankings, as I stated before. Do you know better, more specialized sources? Economy websites tend to take such an amateurish stance when treating videogame industry…

Indeed, Lumino. And I was one who was happy when they made that merge of sorts with another one of my fav companies from back then: Virgin Games. But Richard Branson never has been a VG man to start with and, well, it fell over. And from then on, Capcom started its downfall IMHO.
Sony as a COMPANY, yes. Sony through their video game revenue? No.
-Lumino
[In revenue, Sony is leading confortably].
And that’s about it, nothing else to add at the moment.
That’s what happens when you shit all over your fan base.
-Lumino
I don’t think so, but it’s a far cry from the juggernaut we Mega Drive/Master System/Game Gear guys loved (still do). I think it’s confortable as a big-to-average third party: It’s the 23rd of the world in revenue in December 2015 according to Newzoo, placed between that mobile monster depeloper,Zynga, and NCSoft. YMMV here, though, as we’re dealing with publishers, which means that companies like Apple, Google or Facebook are in the ranking.
Very sad to see that Capcom isn’t even on the 25 biggest companies

>Isn’t sega on the edge of death
If you have to ask, it’s likely not true as that is whay people have been saying about Nentendo for years.
>they were putting all their hopes into the mobile market
It’s only one division, not the whole of the company.
Last I heard they were putting all their hopes into the mobile market, thinking it was an easy source of revenue. It is a difficult market to succeed in and one that is severely over saturated with shovelware but I wish them luck
3D blast did
He also cameo’d in “Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed.”

I love that and how they referenced his brief romance with Sakura in the game XD
I love that his Judo Throw makes people explode… twice.
-Lumino
And he was one of the best damn Solo Units ever!
Owns it
He was in Project x Zone 2.
-Lumino
Haha, I thought of him too.
He actually cameo’d in the official Sonic comic recently. (Yes, it’s still around.)
