To butcher a popular metaphor, if the keys are shiny and you shake it hard enough, then it really doesn’t matter how terrible the car is.
It probably would take something truly atrocious to throw me off a franchise I like, but I have yet to come across anything like that.
I’m actually kinda neutral on JP3… on one hand, it’s closer to the original in feel, and has a better cast… on the other hand there are some silly moments.
The First Transformers was pretty good, and if TF3 and TF4 had better editors, they’d be about as good as the original.
Revenge of the Sith was alright too.
