Description
Bosnian muslims are using greenscreen ponies to teach kids the values of allah. I don’t even…
Invested effort my flank, here we see the first Islamic cartoon (according to description): two characters from an American (and thus in some/most cases, anti-Islamic) franchise used as a mouthpiece even more shamelessly than Brian Griffin used by Seth MacFartlame.
Sure, dismembering and killing people for relatively petty reasons is definitely fun and healthy, not to mention the beauty of desecration of non-Islamic things
Am I going overboard yet?

A world without religion
That makes Sonichu look original, especially with the poni being copypasted onto the video…
Be that as it may, the fact that the writers of the episode made it clear that they were very good friends, having them talk like a married couple, but clarifying “they’re just friends”, shows that they are aware of the representation of them as a gay couple. They tried everything short of having them say they love each other. And that is what bugs me, I’m not one of those people who thinks we should shoehorn minorities into everything, but if you’re going to make an episode for the fans, and reference a gay thing in the fandom, the onus you have to carry is making them gay. And as I said, to add insult to injury, MLP has had episodes about straight love before.
I understand that it’s also related to what the network will allow, but in this day and age, when gay rights is becoming more mainstream, there are kid’s shows which have gay people in them. Steven Universe is an example (note that I HATE Steven Universe, but I think it’s wonderful that they at least acknowledge the existence of gay people).
Makes sense, especially if we’d compare it with the other cases of deterioration of terms, like trivialization of clinical depression to the point of the thing being completely disregarded and ignored by the masses. Not to mention the same happening with autism and probably many other things as we speak.
The point of comparison is that overly misusing the terms tends to severely undermine their meaning, and it’s largely done by the ones who misuse it for their own good (like the self-diagnosing SJW Tumblr-tards who have bastardized the whole Left-wing liberalism as far as I know).
If only the masses would have the magic ability to “separate the wheat from the chaff”, as people say, and prevent the whiny pricks from ruining things all the time…
I do remember a lot of fans friendshipping them before too, though. So it wasn’t like everyone treated them like a couple. I imagine there were even people who shipped other things but didn’t ship these two (I remember some fan animations by this one guy, who I think might have shipped Scratchtavia but thought of these two as just friends).
The word of “homophobic” has been so watered-down that anything that isn’t screaming “gays are great” is considered anti-gay. In other words, it’s used by people who will never be satisfied with anything.
I never said that, that was Ponymous who said it. My point was to add to the discussion; I don’t think that kid’s shows necessarily besmirch gay people, but I do think that the fact they get so little representation in kid’s shows combines with the fact that kid’s shows teach about love is part of what creates a homophobic society. And yes, MLP having tackled love before (Hearts and Hooves Day, A Canterlot Wedding, etc…) but refusing to entertain the notion of a gay couple in an episode meant to appeal to the fans, who have established said gay couple, that is a problem.
TBH I thought being homophobic means taking actions against homosexuals in any way (directly, subtlely, whatever). What you’ve described, on the other hand, sounds a bit like exaggeration of sorts, unless that falls under a classification of “Silent treatment” or something.
I think you’re just projecting your own insecurities and wants, and labeling anything as “Homophobic” when it doesn’t meet your standards.
Your own words were
when there isn’t even a shred of proof of that.
I mean, there aren’t any shows that teach being gay is wrong, (and if there are then that’s horrible) but one could argue that the teaching of all this Valentine’s Day purity without even a passing glance at gay people is homophobic. Even MLP did this; in Slice of Life, an episode meant to appeal to the fans they take the OTP of Lyra and Bon Bon, and make them “just friends” even though MLP has tackled (straight) love before. So…
You’re going have to show me some proof of that, or else I’m saying there is no U.S. TV show that teaches kids being gay is wrong and I’m calling B.S.
Spongebob and Patrick were supposed to be gay before it became a kid’s show so…
