kkat isn’t even all that great at writing. she’s just confident, and capable, and dedicated, and so she can pump out a steady, coherent narrative, and not lose focus or waver in quality, even if that quality isn’t all that good.
anyone can write a story that shocks and awes people at times. but not everyone can reliably deliver
Word. one of the reasons on why i consider myself to be such a terrible writer is that i look at professional, academic texts, then have to write something for exams or something, and then start to feel like i can’t write anything when i can’t do something at their level.

I like to write. But if i compae myself to kkat or even the writer of past sins, i am gonna look like a total literary noob.
But i am not trying to be something or someone else. I am trying to express myself for myelf.
In your case, your expressoin manifests as these pictures. And even your vent art. For another, it make be a much more intricate picture. But both can be equal if both mave effort put into em.
I actually drew this because I saw a gif of Brock doing that. That’s exactly it.
I think it’s a ref to the japanese trope of people turning blue in the face when depressed. Ever watch the old school pokemon, when Brock went away for a season then turned blue whenever someone mentioned the woman he spent that season with? Like that.
That’s me in class every time.:IBut dude, your art is awesome, and completely unique. I know a lot of people who would love to have a style as recognizable as yours.
..I also kinda owe you my thanks, as my partner (who’s a fan of your work) was reminded of his art days, and you seemed to spark some inspiration back into him…which means a lot to me.
I hope one day he starts drawing again, as he’s great at art, but doesn’t realise it; like most people.
Don’t compare yourself to others dude. Understand the talent you have already and you know; it’ll grow more and more the better you realise. ^^
