Whomever you wanted to see covered in marshmallows more!
“I don’t think they make horseshoes in her size, dahling.”
“Don’t worry, she’s tough. She’s a harbor chick!”

Unfortunately, my only nitpick was the male version of…what was the Ghostbusters secretary, Janine? She was beautiful and intelligent. The replacement…just beautiful with no brains. I think Chris Hemsworth keeps getting pushed for female appeal nowadays.
True. Bad marketing is still better than that hardly any marketing.
At least the people know the movie was made in the first place
Edited
Well, at least they tried anyway, right?
If it does I blame the marketing
I don’t remember even watching the originals, so I know I am in no position to properly answer your questions. The only reason I even know about the reboot is because of longtime fans complaining about how terrible the trailer was and, as I said, to me it just looks like a really bad parody.
Wouldn’t be the first time
Him and Harold Ramis had a falling-out during Goundhog Day, where supposedly they never wanted to work with each other again. So that probably had something to do with it, too.
And the on-again, off-again commitment kept delaying the movie, until Harold Ramis died, and that unfortunately pretty much put any chance of a sequel down.
Both Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd wrote the script for the Ghostbusters game several years ago. That is the closest we’re likely going to get to a Ghostbusters 3. And with minor changes, it could’ve made a good movie.
@Drakkenfyre
I see. Then allow me to make the following queries;
1). What if, despite the “terrible trailer”, the film turns out to be decent or good?
2). How would you have done a Ghostbusters movie, if not a reboot?
3). Did you know that Ivan Reitman wants/is doing an animated “Ghostbusters” movie?
Makes me think of old school Cinemax only even more unfunny and with no sex.
The trailer for the reboot was released and it looks terrible. Like a parody of the original movie rather than an actual reboot.
Dare I ask?
Here, this should make you feel better.
