Why did I make another Rariball thing. This time with Shantae.

In the HGH kickstarter, the highest tier reward was one of 3 mint unopened box versions of the game at $10,000, plus a tour of the Wayforward offices. I think all three sold out.
The original Game Boy Color version is one of the rarest and most valuable games there is. Only about 15,000 copies were made back in 2002 (which goes to show why I’d never even heard of it until the series started showing up on the eShop), and today the cartridge alone is worth about 300 bucks. Complete in the box it’s over 1000. Factory sealed? Pushing 4.
The original Shantae is very good, but the lack of distribution outside of Nintendo’s virtual console service is hurting it. While I do have a 3DS and bought it for that, I’d kove to see it get an official PC emulation, if only so as to be able to play all 4 games on one system.
So did I. Although when I initially discovered it there was no mention of a PC release so I “played” it on YouTube. Sure as hell ain’t buying a Nintendo console just for one game. Now it’s on my Steam wishlist.
Thoroughly enjoyed Risky’s Revenge though. Pirate’s Curse is to me a step up in every direction compared to Risky’s Revenge, so I’m pretty hyped for the next game.

Same! I really enjoyed Pirate’s Curse, although I’ve yet to play any of the other games.
I also liked the part after Tan Line Temple where she said “This is the fun part where I get an item”
