HA, truth be told all fandoms are like this
Yes, that is very true, it is almost impressive that MLP over all manages to have a very high level of acceptance, like you said it is normal that even good characters or story line might be disliked by some but this doesn’t happen in MLP as often as in other animations, Naruto for exemple it’s normal people rage in discussions over things they dislike hahah
i get it, it’s okay if you don’t go along with a character, hell i dont even like pinkie’s sister (the rude one), but for me sunburst has a lot of potential, and everyone likes that guy… of course, everything has your exceptions
I mean I know that MLP is All about forgiveness but I do think he was a crappy friend to Starlight, and you know when you simply don’t really go along with a character? for some reason his character bothers me some. If anything still thinking of the IN show (canon), Spike wouldn’t be all that bad… Although I know it is unlikely to hasbro ever ship him for real with anyone even because he is more childish than the average ponies but that’d sure make me happier hahaha
better than his best friend? well, so far he’s the best candidate in the show, i said in the show
