Heh, I just noticed minutes ago while watching this for the third time since the premiere, this moment where they almost kiss! I wondered if someone might’ve posted that and/or edited it, and lo and behold, it’s been done! ^^
 
Not to mention, other little snippets in the 2-part premiere that sort of imply Spike/Starlight shipping, even if I’m still into Sparity as my number one Spike shipping! But I can get behind this too!

These two had better grow some kind of special little friendship; not like this, but you know, something special that only they have, like with Fluttershy and Tree Hugger for instance.
