You even said earlier that your program does use layers. If you can’t quite get the colors to cooperate, try and multiply the sketch over the coloring. Or just merge your coloring layers together, then set that to multiply.

Oh that is how it works on yours. Easy as pie mine not as much but I totally get what you mean!
Instead of putting the colors on a normal layer, put them on a multiply or whatever your program specific overlay layer type is. Literally all I did was duplicate the layer, turn one to multiply and dragged the colored section over the sketch section. (then erase all the extra crap)
Pfft what the heck am I doing then fail!
Then learn how to use layers properly bro.
This took like 10 seconds to do in Sai, not counting erasing the ‘before/after’ stuff.
We’re just point out that the minor details are what sold the picture.
keep working hard and improving and the next one might turn out as an improvement when you color one in.
I never said that you never tried.
Maybe you could try different coloring methods, so as to not lose detail?
You can say what you like but I try kk? Also most art I do is editing items from lack of boardom.
