Second, Asmo is meant to be ugly, hideous, undesirable-looking. Being disgusting to ponies is what shaped his snarky personality. It’s not meant to look badass or edgy. His appearence shaped him to be used to being hated. Hated by ponies like you. Maybe ask why my character looks the way he looks before jumping to attack.
