You cant make the pseudo-ironic hipsters that compose the majority of this fandom understand this simple fact.Assinine reasons to whine and nitpicks are the only thing that make them stay in the fandom by their own admission,reality be damned.It’s like a drug or something like smelling your own fart.That and feeling superiors by enumerating how they wouldnt have made the same mistakes as the professional writers and how they dont look forward the next season but they are going to watch it anyway because hurr durr hipster irony/bile fascination/look at me i’m so speshul and ironic,my tastes are so much better than yours i cant watch a show without writing a dissertation about how it suck and how i would have made better with my fanfics.They cant understand someone “genuinely enjoying something” because they themselves are so high on their high horses and are so above us poor little plebs watching a show for little girl for escapism

She’ll probably stay with sunburst in the crystal empire and I bet they both have a large role

Either that or he’s referring to Starlight Glimmer who pulls a “Discord” (a la’ Twilight’s Kingdom) except doesn’t get redeemed and has to face the Sombra solution or something :q

OK ok she technically never said it’s canon but she did Howe say its canon bases on the experiences Twilight learned from there which is…… Kinda moronic in a sense. I don’t remember Twilight learning much from those movies.

Well okay then I’ll guess I’ll take back some of what I said but if I remember correctly Meghan said that EQG1 was one of the most proudest things she wrote until she saw the backlash and declared it non canon. Until Rainbow Rocks where it was well received and then suddenly it’s canon.

I think it’s important to remember that show staff is NOT marketing staff. I think when they say they love a certain episode or a certain character, they themselves are just genuinely excited about it.

Flash isn’t a new character. I wouldn’t get too excited about this anyhow. The show staff have a tendency to hype certain things up and when things don’t turn out as well they’ll take their word back.
