That doesn’t look like a rifle to me…it looks like an over-under shotgun, firing a questionably-drawn spread of 00-Buck. The smoke pattern and multiple ball (not bullets) in the same moment, and lack of external box-magazine, make it obvious it’s NOT a select-fire rifle, which would be the only other way to get that kind of three bullet spread.

that’s a rifle, not a shotgun. and the guy is clearly firing warning shots, or shooting at the birds above the pony.

I’d personally say grimdark, if only because I know at that range, the rest of that buckshot is in that unicorn’s torso. Sorry, but that’s a dead pony.
