The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Pretty soft for a Sony.
Okay my knowledge of Magic the Gathering is pretty limited, given my lack of interest of any game that involves using cards…
But I just had to look this Black Lotus card up to see that it is indeed selling for thousands of dollars….
Makes me wish that I could stumble across a original still sealed first generation deck, just so I could turn around and auction it off.
Start it off at $1 with no reserve, and see what happens.
“still sealed! May include a black lotus!”
Background Pony #E837
A Black Lotus is worth around 20 thousand dollars. A 35 pound tub of peanut butter costs $41.58, as long as you’re buying in bulk. For the price of that card, you could be eating 16835 pounds of peanut butter. Given the density of peanut butter, that’s enough to fill a standard cement truck, with enough left over for a good-sized kiddie pool. Is that card really tastier than a cement truck and kiddie pool of peanut butter?
