In retrospect it seems like such a waste of a potential storyline given what they’ve done with these two characters, which is next to nothing.

I’d be indifferent to this, but seeing some screens of the chapter it looks like Twi is also wearing a necklace (a green one) so it seems like that thing is just to keep scores or something and not related to Sombrero or the dark magic at all…

Man, I remember when all the fanarts emphasised the purple, like it was basically his main colour or something. Then the actual episode came and it turned out that his magic only slightly glowed purple at all.

She seems consenting enough, unless there’s mindrape involved. At the least, she’s willing to be his little toy in exchange for dark magic. Then again, this relationship is very new if it’s canon, since Sombra JUST got loose. Trixie seems more like the long-term planning type. She’s been waiting for this, for a very long time.
