Sorry not to immediately agree with your assumptions, but no, I don’t like seeing her suffer, because most fan art of the Dazzlings already depicts her suffering and I’m sick of it. Fish swim, birds fly, and Adagio gets the short end of the stick in fan content, often Aria along with her, where Sonata gets cake and presents just for being alive.
 
On that note? Yea, Sonata typically gets treated like a dumb puppy, not a person, and diminishing her like that is disgusting. That you’re okay with heaping torment on one person and acting like those that followed them are totally absolved, you’re the one that needs help, pal.

Sonata comes across as the docile and dumb puppy. She does what the rest of the pack does, believing it to be right.  
Aria doesn’t give a fuck what’s going on, as long as she gets a meal.  
Adagio was the ringleader. She organized everything. She understood that there would be consequences for her actions but she carried through with her plans anyway. Now think of this: did she really need Sonata and Aria? Nothing in her grand scheme required more than just herself. The only upside was their combined Siren power getting results faster. But why weigh herself down?
 
You’ve failed to consider an angle: when a mob family is brought down by the FBI, who is put under the most scrutiny? The Mob Boss. Why? He called the shots. He organized the protections rackets, prostitution rings, sold the drugs, had people killed. He may not have physically gotten his hands dirty but he sure as fuck is responsible for shedding blood and misery.
 
We like seeing Adagio get taken down a peg because of her arrogance. If you say that doesn’t interest you, you’re a damn liar and should immediately seek psychiatric help.

The principals taking in the Dazzlings? I didn’t realize how much I want to see that happen until just now.

I notice that it’s always Adagio that has to suffer or learn a lesson or go through some otherwise unpleasant fate. She was the one in charge and the brains of the outfit, she knows what being responsible for herself and her followers, as well as the power they managed, means. Sonata, on the other hand, you never see subjected to anything of the sort, and if she is, someone immediately comes along to kiss it better so she doesn’t have to change or learn anything.
