Ah darn, I knew that - what people think of as animal knees are actually their ankles and their actual knee is much higher and facing the same direction as ours. Yeah.
I played a lot of Armored Core as a kid, and they called legs like that reverse joints. It’s just stuck with me :P
Sorry, but I’ve got to nitpick this. The leg joints of horses and other animals aren’t ‘reversed’ compared to humans. They’ve got the same number of joints and they bend the same direction. The only differences between them are the proportions and the number of toes.
I actually thought about tagging it satyr, but as you said satyrs usually don’t have the same-colored top and bottom halves, and almost always have reverse joint legs too.
He’s kind of halfway between human and anthro. If he’s supposed to be anthro, he would look much better with a pony head. If humanized, he’d be better without the hooves, ears and tail. I guess he could also be a satyr, if you gave his top half human skin color.
Are you saying it should be humanized and not anthro?
