Description
In NeoGAF’s MLP community thread, we decided to vote on episodes for a recommended episode guide, based on those created for Star Wars: Clone Wars and other shows. After tallying up votes, we then modified the results to get better character coverage, to get at least one episode for each of the Mane Six each season (besides 1 and 3). This resulted in a total of 63 episodes that were recommended, or 7/13 of the series. While things have slowed down in terms of new people joining the fandom, this will hopefully be useful for anyone that’s starting out but is overwhelmed by the number of episodes. No, Gold Mark episodes have nothing to do with quality. Crystal Enpire is Gold Marked.
Also, Rainbow Rocks should be recommended as well, but that’s another story.
That was sarcasm based on the fact there were a few things I feel I could make a case for.
I think he means quality of the episodes, not what happens story wise
Isn’t that a good thing? Just ordinary slice of life episodes that you can just enjoy. No far-reaching consequences, threats or anything. Just fun.

Now this is just me but i think the person who made those chart also took in account the quality of the episode (ex:Applejack key episode who was a cookie cutter episode,not bad i like episode like this that are calm/run-of-the-mill but it was not exactly memorable)
