They may not do polls, but some interesting conclusions could probably be approximated by keeping track of what sort of fic people are and aren’t checking out.
Actually fimfiction is the most visited fansite of the fandom (and it also was at the time that poll was taken), but then again, they don’t really do sitewide polls.
Yeah! And if you disagree with the results of a poll, just keep lookin’ until you find one you do like! If none are forthcoming because the highest-visibility and most-visited fansite in the fandom is the only one running such polls, you could always just wave your arms around and threaten to build one from scratch based on what a handful of randos say on a site that’s famous for anonymously makin’ $#!+ up for lulz.
I seem to be detecting a certain amount of salt coming from you. Not only do I have the results of this poll here, but seeing people talking about liking Equestria Girls goes a long way as well.
Fandom consists of millions of people, and you bringing a poll from a site with people with similar mind set which is not even 1/10 of a fandom and saying that it’s a proof that most of the fandom loves eqg. I could bring similar poll from /mlp/ or something and say the same thing as you said.

By the way, the majority of the fandom likes Equestria Girls so you are in the minority.
