Yeah your right Spike is clearly C-3PO, but again I was thinking about Equetria Girls Spike, and not prime universe spike. This is even assuming there even was a EG Spike. ‘Cause I don’t recall having seen him in the last movie. And NO lets not twist this into Dog-Spike (i.e Prime Universe Spkike). ‘Cause I’m not even thinking of him either.

Does the indentured servant who’s depicted in the human world as a pedestrian animal known for its obedience have any respect?
 
For that matter, is Spike EVER taken seriously /before/ he saves someone’s ass and is barely acknowledged?

Hell no. Loath as I am to say it, Spike is like Wesley Crusher; when he does something useful, it’s only because it serves the plot.
I think he’d be better liked if the writers actually knew what to with him; we’d get more Secret of My Excess tier episodes and less Spike at Your Service tiers.
 
Note when I said “In World” Spike, I was (and always am), refering to EG Universe, not the prime one. Perhaps EG’s Spike gets more respect?
