She suddenly feels Nightmare Moon pick her up with her magic. She is turned around, facing the angry visage of her princess.
Nightmare Moon: You let her escape.

Nightmare Moon: Enough! We’ll continue this conversation at the castle.
There’s enough of that already in terms of fanar-… Oh, in the SHOW.
I want to see NMM capture Twilight and make her her mare.
Nightmare Moon be all like “I’D HIT DAT WITH A BEAM OF MAGIC-WHAT? NOOO! DON’T LEEEEAVE!!!”
That’s actually a mating display. The male is trying to woo the female with how impressive his wings look. If only that’s what is actually going on in this scene.
Well, except for the lingering thought in her head that this reality isn’t “real”, the thought slowly driving her mad as she seeks any and every means necessary to try to find the spell for herself.

That’s because its beak, eyes, and entire face are black except for the two blue spots on the top of its head and the inside of its mouth, which is pale yellow.
Planet Earth is overrated.

Also, I just can’t really see its FACE.
Actually, it’s a superb bird of paradise. In this frame you can see that those aren’t its wings; just a frill of feathers around its neck.
I fucking loved Planet Earth, by the way.
Twilight, at least, looks to be deliberately positioning her wings as if to flap downward and take off: a feint to misdirect NMM’s counterattack.
