Nyx Assassin
He’s still a carry. He needs some farm to make himself beneficial to the team. He’s like a BH, but against casters and not slow carries. You can play him like a support, but you should be more active in taking the enemy down. I’d rather have a Lion support and the Nyx carry.
>Nyx
>Carry
Go home you’re drunk. Nyx is a support or off lane. His job isn’t to cary, it’s to burst down the squishy supports and casters and serve as a hard counter to Invoke and the like.

An underpowered carry, if you ask me. Hard to get farm, easy to kill in lane (with a proper stun or disable), and is ability-based. Needs a buff, if you ask me. Same with Sniper. Perhaps some base damage increase, or ability tweak. (Such a Headshot being a lot better at 50% than at 40%.)
Eh, personally I play Nyx. Sorry, your message didn’t pop up in my alerts for some reason.
Only if you cast it manually, rightclicking with it on autocast will be considered a regular autoattack.
How about building your own army?
@Silent Wing
This song is for you
A very complicated hero to say the least. Meanwhile, I’m an unkillable god in lane as Ogre. Get a quick Lens and you’re golden.
I really enjoy Arc Warden though. Double Midas and Double Necro.
Ice Frog just murdered Huskar. I am quite disappointed.
Huskar mid is a terrible idea. He just isn’t tanks enough early on to handle any serious harassment.
Mango + Belt = Early
Belt into Treads, next buying Helm
All of this before level 10, and you’re virtually unstoppable in mid lane, should you take mid lane.
Berserker’s Blood -> Burning Spears (Or Inner Vitality IF it seems to be a pressing matter mid, such if you’re against a Lina or other spammer.) -> IV or BS -> Burning Spears -> Burning Spears -> Life Break -> Burning Spears
I could go on, but I’d rather post a build to DotAFire. I’ve been told it’s incredibly great and easy to understand, and the full build enables you to be a fearsome hero to fight, and should mostly run from if you’re alone. The trick here is to get a major item BEFORE a certain time, like Sniper getting Desolator before 10 minutes, while still having a Poor Man’s, Tangoes, and Treads.
It’s mainly all about picks, but with some fine understanding, you can counter even your normal counters, such as Sniper and Dazzle. Huskar is incredibly flexible depending on what you need for him against what they have.
Would you like me to post the full build and guide on DotAFire.
Life steal isn’t usually an early buy on Huskar. He usually wants to risk lower health after all.
That’s a lot of magic on a target with Berserker’s Blood. You sure you have enough physical to counter fast attacks + lifesteal?
Yeah but a toss into avalanche should be able to turn the fight around.
Not really. Burning Spears counts as a cast spell, which means Tiny’s passive doesn’t proc and creeps don’t get alerted.
And got stun by Tiny’s passive!
A surprise Huskar leaps from the fog of war…
I don’t know, he’s clearly at least level 16 so all he needs is Aghs and he’s in a good position.
