Well he doesn’t steal spells. Just magic. So he is closer to Pugma’s Life Drain or Lion’s Mana Drain. Also magical energy blasts can be applied to just about every magic caster in existence. Rubik’s Null Field is a passive. Tirek’s active shield (like Twilight’s) is more like Abaddon’s Aphotic Shield.
