empyu: This challenge was to draw a Talk Show with ponies. It’d be a unique challenge to have a talk show where the host doesn’t talk. For the record, DJ Pon3 is asking Rarity what she would change to her outfit, where she draws her inspiration from, how things are going at her new Canterlot store. Yup. that’s what that gesture means.

Funny, in Pony Life, it’s Rarity who is perfectly fluent in DJ un-speak. But, having her be the one to actually come into contact with such a thing makes this pretty prescient.
