You know, this conversation has got me wanting to see an episode in which Twilight & Starlight noticing tiny little things that aren’t quite in keeping with how they remember them. Things like the color of a house, the location of a bench or what plants someone has in their garden. Going half mad from all the little inconsistencies between their memory & reality. Proposing every explanation from Discord playing a prank to Chrysalis conspiracy theories (Chryspiracy theories?) to the Manedela Effect before finally realizing that while they may have reverted the timeline, they didn’t do it perfectly.

well technically speaking as time is quite a tricky thing. she would exists in to many different forms so you are right and wrong in countless different times.
 
no new time lines are created or destroyed. just existing the only difference is the thing that splits them from another time line so a single choice one makes makes a new time line that already existed.

Seeing as Littlepip is a descendant of Applejack I could see the fixed timeline having us see her working the orchard with siblings/parents. Speaking of her ancestors, isn’t Steelhooves her many times great grandfather?

What’s the point of bringing her around when it won’t fix your timeline? There would be plenty of timelines where it doesn’t happen regardless of if they bothered to take action.
 
My head canon is that each time the timeline shifted, every single resident of the old timeline was disintegrated in a massive paradox, making Starlight effectively responsible for billions of deaths.

Even pinky pie new this stopping a paradox at the same time….then with every action there is an equil and oppiste reaction so each ending is never the same nor diffrent….ether im just delirious from being sick or this is fucking awsome!
