Azure gave it to her on Hearts and Hooves Day. The pendant is supposed to be made of moonstone, not simply because of it’s name but because moonstone in Hindu folklore states it’s solidified moonbeams, each gem has it’s own unique fractals and are seen a sign of good luck. Basically there’s a bit of symbolism with the gem itself that ties into why he gave it to her.
