I remember hoping on EqD that she’d be a writer for the new Ducktales show after she moved to Disney. After seeing how that thing turned out, now I really wish that had happened.

It definitely had a lady gaga vibe to it, but I don’t think it was a love letter to her. Especially when Countess Coloratura changed her style of singing at the end.

Did lady gaga’s manager actually do that in real life? If so you may have a point. Otherwise it just seem kind of strange to have a character based off of lady gaga and present her over the top act and persona as bad and suggest she would be better if she ditched all of that.

I got Lady Gaga vibes. But, to me, it was just general commentary on popstars and fame in general. It was a cool, relatable aspect of the episode that presented itself in a grounded manner. It didn’t detract from the episode at all for me.

It was a great farewell, indeed. The whole episode was great overall. Love ya, Rogers. You always knew how to add a certain magic to the episodes you worked on, that made for the most memorable and endearing parts of the series as a whole.
 
Gonna miss you.
