It also makes me think they’re a lot less “evil” than they were cracked up to be. Like, they’re basically evil in a “they’re predators and the ponies are prey” kind of way, rather than being inherently cruel or anything :P
I liked that part a lot too; they might’ve been the only ones who didn’t need to be set straight (for lack of better words) by light shows and platitudes, they just got back up and marched to the beat of their own drum. :)
I liked that about them. That they threw up their hands and basically said “Well it’s now entirely impossible to take over the world and be supervillains, so we might as well use our musical talent to eke out a living.” That they basically just “reformed” out of necessity alone might make them the deepest villains in the entire series :D
The last time you see them they were pointless red harrings.
