Well, if it’s any consolation, panel two uses the sound effect for something moving through a tube while panel three uses the sound of something popping out of something else.
I expected some bubblegum joke.
Awww that’s kind of boring I thought it might be about how they make apples or something like that, hence the rest of the comic.
Just her going, “Hey, everybody/ everpony. It’s Applejack!”. Alternatively, “Hey there, everypony, Applejack here!” if you want it to be more in-character.
